1951 Farmall
“Timeless International”
(This old barn and I)
“This 1951 Farmall “M” is a special part of who I am. As a kid I remember my cousins and I climbing our way to the top of “Grandpas tractor” and shifting gears while we pretended to harvest corn. Years later all the belongings on the farm in Neola, IA were being auctioned off. To my relief I was able to attend the auction and become the proud new owner of this sentimental piece of farming history. Currently the “M” is in the process of restoration. With the help of Steiner Tractor Parts I hope to one day show Grandpa his old tractor completely restored. It’s Just as Grandpa said, “She’s a Honey.”
-I would like to dedicate this photograph to my Grandmother, Sheila Ring. “You will always be an inspiration to me, as you have been before.”
Thank you Neal for your story, and thanks to everyone for all the great photos.
