Farmall tractors could be equipped with either a voltage regulator or a ‘cutout’. They look very similar, the difference is the voltage regulator will have 3 terminals on 1 side & 1 terminal either on the other side or under the regulator. It also uses a 3 position light switch. Cub mounts below generator on governor housing others mounted on back of light switch box or rear fuel tank support. Cutout will have 2 terminals on 1 side and 1 terminal on other, uses 4 position light switch, gas tractors mounted on generator DSL tractors mounted on left radiator support.
